Joshua Honohan (* 28. März 2001 in Carrigaline, County Cork) ist ein irischer Fußballspieler.

Werdegang

Der Abwehrspieler begann seine Karriere beim Amateurverein Carrigaline United und wechselte im Alter von 17 Jahren in die Nachwuchsabteilung des Proficlubs Cork United. Dort gab er am 30. August 2019 sein Profidebüt bei der 2:4-Heimniederlage gegen die Sligo Rovers. Durch eine Verletzung verpasste Honohan die Saison 2020, in der Cork City als Tabellenletzter absteigen musste. Zwei Jahre später gelang ihm mit seiner Mannschaft als Meister der First Division der Wiederaufstieg in die höchste irische Spielklasse. Am Saisonende musste Cork nach einer 1:2-Niederlage nach Verlängerung gegen den Waterford FC direkt wieder absteigen. Am Saisonende wechselte Honohan zum amtierenden Meister Shamrock Rovers.[1] Mit den Shamrock Rovers gewann er 2024 den irischen Supercup durch einen 3:1-Sieg über St Patrick’s Athletic. Ein Jahr später wurde Honohan mit den Rovers irischer Meister.
