Jason Orley

Jason Orley (* 20. Jahrhundert in Michigan) ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmregisseur und Drehbuchautor. Bekanntheit erlangte er durch Filme wie Der harte Weg zum Erwachsenwerden.[1] oder I Want You Back.[2]

Leben und Karriere

Der aus dem Bundesstaat Michigan stammende Jason Orley ist ein US-amerikanischer Drehbuchautor und Regisseur, der mit zwei älteren Brüdern aufwuchs und die Lahser High School in der Nähe von Detroit besuchte, wo er durch ein Schulprogramm frühzeitig mit Film- und Fernsehproduktion in Berührung kam und in das Sommer-Filmprogramm für Highschool-Schüler der New York University aufgenommen wurde.

2019 inszenierte er das Filmdrama Der harte Weg zum Erwachsenwerden mit Pete Davidson und Griffin Gluck in den Hauptrollen, nachdem es sein Drehbuch 2014 auf die Black List (Umfrage) geschafft hatte. Der Film feierte seine Premiere im Januar 2019 beim Sundance Film Festival. 2022 folgte die romantische Amazon-Komödie I Want You Back in der Besetzung Charlie Day, Jenny Slate und Scott Eastwood.

Orley ist verheiratet und hat eine Tochter.[3]
