Ian Chapman

Ian Roy Chapman (* 21. Dezember 1939 in Bendigo) ist ein ehemaliger australischer Radrennfahrer und nationaler Meister im Radsport.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Chapman war im Bahnradsport aktiv. Er war Teilnehmer der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1960 in Rom. Im Zeitfahren belegte er den 5. Platz. Bei den Commonwealth Games 1962 in Perth holte er die Silbermedaille im 1000-Meter-Zeitfahren. Die nationale Meisterschaft im 1000-Meter-Zeitfahren gewann er 1960. Vizemeister in dieser Disziplin wurde er 1958, 1959, 1961 und 1962. Vizemeister im Sprint wurde er 1958. 1965 gewann er das Sechstagerennen von Launceton mit Barry Waddell als Partner.
