Hans Matous

Johann „Hans“ Matous (* 12. August 1942) ist ein ehemaliger österreichischer Leichtathlet, der vor allem im Diskuswurf erfolgreich war.

Sportliche Karriere

Matous startete für den UAB Wien. Bei den österreichischen Staatsmeisterschaften siegte er siebenmal im Diskuswurf (1969 und von 1973 bis 1978).[1]

Seine Bestleistung von 60,90 Meter warf Matous am 10. Oktober 1976 in Wien. Er lag damit etwa zwei Meter hinter dem damaligen Landesrekord von Heimo Reinitzer.[2] 2025 stand Matous mit seiner Weite auf dem siebten Platz der ewigen österreichischen Bestenliste.[3]
