HMS Frolic
Mehrere Schiffe der britischen Royal Navy trugen den Namen HMS Frolic:
- Die erste HMS Frolic war eine Sloop mit 18 Kanonen, die 1806 in Dienst gestellt und 1813 ausgemustert wurde. Im Krieg von 1812 wurde sie durch ein Gefecht mit der amerikanischen Sloop USS Wasp bekannt.
- Die zweite HMS Frolic war eine Sloop mit 10 Kanonen, die 1820 vom Stapel lief und 1838 verkauft wurde.
- Die dritte Frolic war eine Sloop mit 16 Kanonen, die 1842 vom Stapel lief und 1864 verkauft wurde.
- Die vierte HMS Frolic war ein Kanonenboot mit Schraubenantrieb, das 1872 vom Stapel lief, später als Schulschiff und Wachboot diente und 1908 verkauft wurde.
- Die fünfte HMS Frolic war ein Lend-Lease-Minensucher, der 1947 an die US Navy zurückgegeben und von dieser später an die Türkei abgegeben wurde, wo sie unter dem Namen Candarll bis 1986 im Dienst stand.
