HMS Fearless
Sieben Schiffe der britischen Royal Navy trugen den Namen HMS Fearless nach dem englischen Wort für „furchtlos“:
- Die erste HMS Fearless war ein Kanonenboot, das 1794 vom Stapel lief und 1804 bei Plymouth strandete.
- Die zweite HMS Fearless war eine Kanonenbrigg, die an der Beschießung von Kopenhagen 1807 teilnahm, bevor sie 1812 bei Cádiz auf Grund lief.
- Die dritte HMS Fearless hatte zuvor den Namen „Flamer“ geführt. Der hölzerne Schaufelraddampfer wurde 1837 umbenannt und bis zur Verschrottung 1875 als Paketdampfer genutzt.
- Die vierte HMS Fearless war ein Torpedokreuzer, der 1886 vom Stapel lief und 1905 zum Abwracken verkauft wurde.
- Die fünfte HMS Fearless war ein 1913 gebauter Aufklärungskreuzer der Active-Klasse. Er wurde im Ersten Weltkrieg eingesetzt und 1921 verschrottet.
- Die sechste HMS Fearless war ein Zerstörer der F-Klasse, der 1934 in Dienst gestellt wurde. 1941 wurde er im Mittelmeer von Flugzeugen so beschädigt, dass er selbstversenkt werden musste.
- Die siebte HMS Fearless war ein 1963 in Dienst gestelltes amphibisches Landungsschiff. Es wurde im Falklandkrieg eingesetzt und 2002 ausgemustert.
