HMS Colossus
HMS Colossus war die Bezeichnung mehrerer Schiffe der britischen Royal Navy:
- HMS Colossus (1787), ein 74-Kanonen-Linienschiff, lief 1787 vom Stapel und lief 1798 vor Samson auf Grund.
- HMS Colossus (1803) war ein 1803 vom Stapel gelaufenes 74-Kanonen-Linienschiff, das 1826 abgewrackt wurde.
- HMS Colossus (1848) war ein 80-Kanonen-Linienschiff, das 1848 Stapellauf hatte, 1854 auf Schraubenantrieb umgestellt und 1867 verkauft wurde.
- HMS Colossus (1882), ein gepanzertes Turmschiff und Typschiff der Colossus-Klasse, lief 1882 vom Stapel und wurde 1908 verkauft.
- HMS Colossus war ein Dreadnought-Schlachtschiff, Typschiff der Colossus-Klasse, das 1910 Stapellauf hatte und 1928 abgewrackt wurde.
- HMS Colossus (R15) war ein Leichter Flugzeugträger, Typschiff der Colossus-Klasse, wurde 1944 in Dienst gestellt, 1945 an Frankreich überlassen, wo sie den Namen Arromanches erhielt, 1968 zum Hubschrauberträger umgebaut und 1978 abgewrackt.
