Guy Gallopin

Guy Gallopin (* 23. Januar 1956 in Mondonville-Saint-Jean) ist ein ehemaliger französischer Radrennfahrer und Sportlicher Leiter im Radsport.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Gallopin war im Straßenradsport aktiv. Als Amateur siegte er 1977 und 1980 bei Paris–Montargis, 1980 bei Paris–Orléans, Paris–Fécamp, im Prix des Vins Nouveaux und im Etappenrennen Tour d’Eure-et-Loir. Gallopin war von 1981 bis 1987 Berufsfahrer. 1981 siegte er im Eintagesrennen Paris–Camembert. 1984 war er auf einer Etappe im Critérium du Dauphiné erfolgreich. 1985 gewann er eine Etappe in der Tour du Vaucluse. Zweiter wurde er 1986 bei Bordeaux–Paris hinter Gilbert Glaus, 1985 und 1987 kam er auf den 3. Platz. In der Tour de France startete Gallopin fünfmal. 1982 kam er nicht ins Ziel der Rundfahrt, 1983 wurde er 86., 1984 63., 1985 102. und 1987 133. In der Vuelta a España startete er dreimal. 1984 und 1985 beendete er das Rennen nicht, 1986 wurde er 104.

Berufliches

Nach seiner aktiven Karriere war er Sportlicher Leiter im französischen Radsportteam St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93.

Familiäres

Seine Brüder Joël Gallopin und Alain Gallopin sowie seine Neffe Tony Gallopin waren ebenfalls Radprofis.[1]
