Geoff Clark

Geoff Clark (* 1923 in Bradford; † 7. Januar 2012 ebenda) war ein britischer Radrennfahrer.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Clark war im Straßenradsport aktiv und Mitglied der Nationalmannschaft. 1949 siegte er im Etappenrennen Brighton to Glasgow, einem Vorläufer der Tour of Britain. Er holte einen Etappensieg und gewann die Bergwertung der Rundfahrt. 1945 war er Zweiter hinter Robert Batot geworden und hatte eine Etappe gewonnen. 1948 wurde er Vierter mit einem Etappensieg. Er gewann den Circuit of Nidderdale 1944, den Shrewsbury Grand Prix 1945 und den South Lancashire Grand Prix 1949. In der nationalen Meisterschaft im Straßenrennen der Amateure des Verbandes B.L.R.C. wurde er 1946 Vizemeister hinter George Edwards. Bei London to Holyhead 1951 wurde er Zweiter. In der Polen-Rundfahrt 1949 kam er auf Platz 13 und war damit bester Brite.
