General Pico ist eine Stadt im Nordosten der Provinz La Pampa, Argentinien.

Die Stadt weist eine Fläche von 2.555 km² auf und liegt 143 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Da das Land sehr fruchtbar ist, werden in General Pico vor allem Viehzucht und Landwirtschaft betrieben.

Mit einer Einwohnerzahl von 56.795 (Volkszählung 2010) ist sie nach der Provinzhauptstadt Santa Rosa die zweitgrößte Stadt in der Provinz La Pampa.

Die Eisenbahnverbindung zwischen dem Westen und dem Süden des Landes war bei der Auswahl der geographischen Lage der Stadt ein bestimmender Faktor. Sie wurde von General Eduardo Gustavo Pico gegründet, dem damaligen Gouverneur der Provinz La Pampa.

General Pico hat zwei sehr wichtige Basketball-Teams in der argentinischen Liga: Pico Football Club und Independiente de Pico.
