Gehör

Gehör, über mittelhochdeutsch gehoerde („Gehör, Hören, Gehörsinn“) sprachlich abgeleitet von hören, bezeichnet:

  • eine Sinneswahrnehmung von Lebewesen, mit der Schall wahrgenommen werden kann, siehe Auditive Wahrnehmung
  • die Gesamtheit der zur auditiven Wahrnehmung benötigten Elemente (beim Menschen: das Sinnesorgan des Ohrs in Kombination mit der Hörverarbeitung)
  • allgemein Beachtung, Zuhören, Gehör verschaffen
  • in der Rechtssprache das Recht, angehört zu werden, siehe Rechtliches Gehör
  • in der Musik eine besondere musikalische Begabung, siehe absolutes Gehör (Tonhöhengedächtnis)
