Erito (Erilo) ist eine osttimoresische Aldeia im Suco Gugleur (Verwaltungsamt Maubara, Gemeinde Liquiçá).[1] 2015 lebten in der Aldeia 118 Menschen.[2]

Geographie

Erito liegt im Nordosten des Sucos Gugleur ein. Nordwestlich befindet sich die Aldeia Lauvou, südwestlich die Aldeia Vatumori und südöstlich die Aldeia Lissa-Lara. Im Nordosten bildet der Mantaro, ein Quellfluss des Marae, die Grenze zu den Sucos Vaviquinia und Maubaralissa.[1][3]

Im Osten der Aldeia befindet sich das Dorf Erito.[1]

Politik

2023 wurde Marcal dos Santos zum Chefe de Aldeia gewählt.[4]

Geschichte

Mau-Lay, der sich als erster Hakka in Maubara angesiedelt haben soll, erwarb in Erito ein Stück Land und schuf hier mit einheimischen Arbeitern eine Kaffeeplantage. Zwei weitere Hakka namens A Sung und Loi Moi (oder auch Boto Ana) gründeten später in Erito ebenfalls Plantagen. Einer der beiden heiratete Maria Doutel, die später Königin von Maubara.[5]
