Cuzcatlan oder Cuscatlan (auch Cōzcatlān oder Koskatlan, in der Pipil-Sprache Nawat Kuskatan oder Kushkatan, Betonung jeweils auf der vorletzten Silbe), hispanisiert Cuzcatlán oder Cuscatlán (Betonung auf der letzten Silbe) ist ein Ortsname aus dem Nahuatl, der sich aus den Wortbestandteilen cōzcatl (Nawat: kuskat oder kushkat, „Halskette“, „Juwelen“) und der Lokativendung -tlān (Nawat: -tan) zusammensetzt und als „Land der Juwelen“ oder „Land des Reichtums“ interpretiert wird.
