Geographie

Courlay liegt etwa acht Kilometer südwestlich von Bressuire und wird umgeben von den Nachbargemeinden Bressuire im Norden und Nordosten, Chanteloup im Osten und Südosten, Moncoutant im Süden, Saint-Jouin-de-Milly im Südwesten sowie La Forêt-sur-Sèvre im Westen.
