Die Codepage 708 (auch ASMO-708) ist eine MS & PC-DOS-Codepage und wurde von der Arabischen Organisation für Standards und Metrologie (ASMO) entworfen. Sie kodiert die arabische Schrift, wobei allerdings keine Unterscheidung zwischen isolierten und gebundenen Formen gemacht wird, die für eine korrekte Darstellung der arabischen Schrift notwendig ist. Auf ihr basiert ISO 8859-6.[1]
