Birgit Braun
Birgit Braun (* 1. Januar 1969) ist eine ehemalige deutsche Fußballspielerin.
Karriere
Mit dem Start der Bundesliga als höchste Spielklasse für Frauenfußballmannschaften und der Aufnahme des Spielbetriebs ab der Saison 1990/91, gehörte der VfL Ulm/Neu-Ulm als Gründungsmitglied dazu; wie auch 24 Spielerinnen, von den 22 zum Einsatz kamen. Eine davon war Birgit Braun, die als Stürmerin 13 Saisonspiele bestritt. Ihr Debüt erfolgte zum Saisonstart am 2. September 1990 beim 2:1-Sieg im Auswärtsspiel gegen den SC 07 Bad Neuenahr, das sie sogleich mit ihrem ersten von insgesamt vier Toren krönte und damit zweitbeste Torschützin ihrer Mannschaft war.[1]
