Birgit Augustin

Birgit Augustin (* 14. Februar 1974) ist eine ehemalige deutsche Fußballspielerin.

Karriere

Als die Bundesliga als höchste Spielklasse im Frauenfußball mit Beginn der Saison 1990/91 den Spielbetrieb aufnahm, gehörte die Frauenfußballmannschaft des FC Bayern München dieser an, da sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt als Meister der Bayernliga die Voraussetzung als Gründungsmitglied erfüllte. Birgit Augustin gehörte dem 29-köpfigen Spielerkader als Mittelfeldspielerin an und bestritt im Alter von 17 Jahren ihr erstes von neun Saisonspielen in der höchsten Spielklasse. Ihr Debüt erfolgte am 3. März 1991 (10. Spieltag) beim 1:1-Unentschieden im Auswärtsspiel gegen den VfR 09 Saarbrücken. In der Folgesaison wurde sie in zwölf Punktspielen eingesetzt.[1]
