Anisonotus ist eine Gattung der Krabben aus der Familie Inachidae mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 134 und 448 m im tropischen Westatlantik.[2.1]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 11 mm lang und ohne Dornen. Das Rostrum (mittiger Stirnfortsatz) ist einfach gebaut, gebogen, rückenseitig mit Höckern bewehrt und kürzer als der übrige Carapax. Die Scheidewand zwischen den Antennulen steht hervor, ist mit einem kleinen Zahn besetzt und von der Seite sichtbar. Der Überaugenvorsprung trägt zwei lange Dornen und einen lappenartigen Fortsatz hinter der Augenhöhle. Die Augenstiele sind verlängert. Die Schreitbeine sind etwa doppelt so lang wie der Carapax, das erste ist das längste. Die Finger sind nach hinten gekrümmt.[2.1]

Systematik

Die Gattung wird in die Unterfamilie Podochelinae eingeordnet,[1] die Untergliederung der Inachidae in Unterfamilien ist jedoch umstritten.[2.2] Sie umfasst folgende Arten:[1]
