2K steht für:

  • hauptsächlich im angelsächsischen Sprachraum die Zahl 2000 (K steht hierbei für kilo, nach griech. chílioi für tausend)
  • 2000 (Jahr), häufiger wird jedoch Y2K verwendet
  • 2K (Bildauflösung), für die Produktion von Kinofilmen genutzten Auflösungen der Ausbelichtung der Bilder auf Filmmaterial. Nicht zu verwechseln mit 4K2K, bei dem es sich ebenfalls um eine Abkürzung im Bereich Auflösung handelt, aber für Monitore und Bildschirme benutzt wird.
