Knattspyrnufélagið Valur je sportski klub iz Reykjavíka, Island. Najpoznatiji je po svojoj nogometnoj ekipi koja se takmiči se u Prvoj nogometnoj ligi Islanda.

Historija

Klub je osnovan 11. maja 1911. godine. 1930. godine osvaja svoju prvu titulu i od tada je jedan od najboljih nogometnih klubova u državi. 1939. godine Valur kupuje poljoprivredno zemljište Hlíðarendi, na tom mjestu se nalazi istoimeni stadion. Prvobitno Valur je bio samo nogometni klub, ali je u 1940-im u sportsko društvo uključeno više sportova, počevši od muške rukometne ekipe.
