TrueBSD je LiveDVD operativni sistem temeljen na FreeBSDu s mnogim korisnim aplikacijama. Svi otvoreni programi će nastaviti raditi čak i kad izbacite LiveDVD (koristeći naredbu cdcontrol eject) kako bi dobili neke podatke iz vlastitog CD-a. Samo ne zaboravite ubaciti LiveDVD opet prije početka bilo kojeg drugog programa. TrueBSD se distribuira pod BSD licencom, ali neki od uključenih softvera mogu biti obuhvaćeni nekim drugim licencama.
