Thula (arapski: ثُلَاء, romanizirano: Thulāʾ) ili Thila (arapski: ثِلَاء, romanizirano: Thilāʾ) je grad u zapadno-centralnom dijelu Jemena. Nalazi se u guberniji ‘Amran.

Thula je jedan od pet gradova u Jemenu koji se nalaze na Tentativnoj listi UNESCO-ve svjetske baštine.[1] Grad potiče iz himjarskog perioda (između 110. p. n. e. i 6. stoljeća n. e.) i veoma je dobro očuvan, s tradicionalnim kućama i džamijama.[1] Arheološka istraživanja su otkrila ostatke iz sabejskog perioda, uključujući masivne kamene građevine ispod himjarskih slojeva.[2][3] Tokom restauracije koja je trajala od 2004. do 2011. obnovljena su vrata Bab al Mayah, nekoliko osmatračnica, staze, tradicionalna cisterna i drugi dijelovi sabejske tvrđave.[3]

Status svjetske baštine

Ova lokacija je dodana na Tentativnu listu UNESCO-ve svjetske baštine 8. jula 2002, u kategoriji kulturne baštine.[1]
