Shepard "Shep" Smith (rođen 14. januara 1964. kao David Shepard Smith Jr.) jest američki voditelj vijesti. Bivši je voditelj emisija Fox Report with Shepard Smith i Studio B na kanalu Fox News. Mladost

Smith je rođen u Holly Springsu u Mississippiju kao sin Dore Ellen Anderson, učiteljice engleskog jezika, i Davida Sheparda Smitha Sr., trgovca pamukom. U rodnom gradu pohađao je privatnu školu Marshall Academy, a srednju školu završio je na Floridi, gdje se sa svojom majkom i bratom preselio nakon što su se roditelji razveli.[1][2][3] Kasnije se opredijelio za studije novinarstva na Univerzitetu u Mississippiju, ali ih je napustio prije diplomiranja.
