Samara (ruski: Самара) jest grad u Rusiji, administrativni centar Samarske oblasti, centar i najveći grad Privolškog federalnog okruga. Od 1586. do 1935. godine nosio je ime Samara, a od 1935. do 1991. - Kujbišev. Poslije rapada SSSR 1991 godine vraćeno je staro ime Samara. Raspoložen je na uzvišenju, pored ušća rijeke Samare i Volge. Samara je jedan od gradova-domaćina Svjetskog prvenstva u nogometu 2018.

Prema procjeni iz 2017. godine, u gradu je živjelo 1.169.719 stanovnika što ga čini 9. najvećim gradom u Rusiji.
