Rotting Christ je grčki black metal bend iz Atine.
O bendu
Osnivali su ga 1984. braća Sakis i Themis Tolis i Jim Mutilator. U početku se band zvao Black Church i svirali grindcore sve do 1989.[1] Godine 1987. mijenja ime u Rotting Christ. Godine 1993. objavili svoj prvi studijski album Thy Mighty Contract a zatim Non Serviam. Od trećog albuma, Triarchy of the Lost Lovers počeli su eksperimente s gothic metalom. Uz bendovima Varathron i Necromantia smatra ih se najvećin grčkim black metal bendom.
