Momase jest jedna od četiri regije Papue Nove Gvineje. Njen najveći grad je Lae, drugi najveći grad u zemlji. Naziv Momase je spojnica od četiri njene konstitutivne pokrajine: Morobe, Madang, i Sepik (Istočni Sepik i Sandaun). Momase je daleko jezički najraznolikija regija Papue Nove Gvineje.[2]
