JOVIAL (akronim za Jules Own Version of the International Algorithmic Language[1]) jeste programski jezik višeg reda sličan jeziku ALGOL, ali specijalizovan za razvijanje ugradbenih sistema.

Historija

Prvo ime je bilo "International Algorithmic Language" i predstavljeno je za jezik ALGOL 58. Razvijen je od strane Julesa Schwartza (fon. Džuls Švarc) 1959. za služenje u komandama zračnih snaga.[2]
