Gilbert Harold "Gil" Merrick (26. januar 1922. - 3. februar 2010.) je bio engleski nogometni golman i trener. Nastupao je za Birmingham City i nogometnu reprezentaciju Engleske.
Karijera
Rođen je u Sparkhillu. 1939. potpisuje profesionalni ugovor za Birmingham City. U klubu sa St Andrew'sa je proveo cijelu karijeru. Zabilježio je 485 ligaških nastupa.
Za nogometnu reprezentaciju Engleske je igrao od 1950. do 1954. godine. Sakupio je 23 nastupa. Bio je član reprezentacije na svjetskom prventsvu 1954. godine.
