ExoMars

ExoMars (Exobiology on Mars) jeste dvodjelni astrobiološki projekt za potragu dokaza o životu na Marsu, a zajednička je misija Evropske svemirske agencije (ESA) i ruske svemirske agencije Roskosmos. Prvi dio, lansiran u 2016., je postavio komunikacioni satelit za traženje tragova gasa u Marsovu orbitu, i ispustio je stacionarni eksperimentalni lender (koji je polomljen). Drugi dio je plan za lansiranje u 2020., sa namjerom da prizmlji rover na površinu, podržavajući naučnu misiju za koju se očekuje vijek trajanja do 2022. ili duže.[1][2][3]

ExoMars cilj jeste potraga za znakovima prošlog života na Marsu[4][5] istražujući kako variraju na Marsu voda i geohemijsko okruženje.
