Edward Theodore Gein (27. august 1906. - 26. juli 1984.),[1] jedan od najozloglašenijih američkih serijskih ubica.

Optužen je za dva ubistva. Bizarna i morbidna priroda njegovih zločina je šokirala svijet. Rođen je u državi Wisconsin. Otac mu je bio nasilni, nezaposleni alkoholičar, a majka fanatični protestant. Nije imao prijatelja, i samo je išao u školu. Vani se nije igrao. Majka ga je umalo udavila uhvativši ga kako masturbira u kadi. Imao je i nekrofilskih sklonosti. Ubio je Bernice Worden i Mary Hogan. Izvukao se ludilom, a ostatak života, od 1968. do smrti proveo je u bolnici. Umro je 1984. u 78. godini od zatajenja pluća.
