Draw the Line bio je peti studijski album koji je 9. decembra 1977. objavila američka rok-grupa Aerosmith.[1]

Informacija

Album je trebao biti nastavak njihovog albuma Rocks (1976), a snimljen je u napuštenoj manastirskoj zgradi u New Yorku, koja je bila zakupljena upravo iz tog razloga.[2] Tu su članovi ove grupe živjeli spavajući, jedući, uzmajući droge, i vozeći sportske automobile u pauzama poslije snimanja muzičkog materijala za novi album. Draw the Line je prvi mjesec nakon objavljivanja ostvario platinasti tiraž, dospjevši na muzičke top liste 24. decembra 1977,[3] dostižući 11. mjesto na američkoj Billboard 200 listi,[4] i na kraju je ostvario 2x multi-platinasti tiraž skoro desetljeće kasnije. Draw the Line nije bio toliko uspješan kao što su bila njihova 2 prethodna albuma, mada je imao manje hitove: "Draw the Line" (Povuci liniju) i "Kings & Queens" (Kraljevi i kraljice). Time ovaj album grupe Aerosmith označava početak perioda smanjenja prodaje njihovih albuma u odnosu na uspješni početni period njihovog rada tokom 1970-ih.[5]
