DMARC

DMARC (engleski: Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) je standard za autentifikaciju elektronske pošte koji omogućava vlasnicima domena da zaštite svoje domene od zloupotrebe, kao što su lažno predstavljanje (phishing) i spoofing. DMARC je razvijen kao nadogradnja postojećih tehnologija za autentifikaciju e-maila, kao što su SPF (Sender Policy Framework) i DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), te omogućava vlasnicima domena da definišu pravila o tome kako se tretiraju poruke koje ne prolaze SPF ili DKIM provjere.

Osnovni mehanizam DMARC-a uključuje objavljivanje DMARC politike u DNS zapisu domena, što omogućava primateljima e-maila da automatski provjere autentičnost poruka i izvještavaju vlasnika domena o pokušajima zloupotrebe. DMARC je također osnova za standarde kao što je BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification), koji omogućava prikazivanje brendiranih logotipa u e-mail klijentima.

DMARC je definisan u RFC 7489 od strane IETF-a.
