Nomascus — род чалавекападобных прыматаў, якія жывуць у Паўднёва-Усходняй Азіі. Nomascus — адзін з 4 родаў сямейства Hylobatidae, якіх называюць «малымі гамінідамі».

Жывёлы маюць найбольшы ў сямействе дыплоідны набор храмасом — 52. Nomascus быў узняты да статусу роду, паколькі апошнія даследаванні паказалі, што адлегласць паміж падродамі гібонаў аказалася больш, чым паміж родамі Pan і Homo.
