Батанічнае апісанне

Прадстаўнікі віду Agonis flexuosa вырастаюць да памераў невялікіх дрэў, астатнія віды — высокія кусты.

Кветкі белыя, 5-мерныя, сядзячыя, сабраны ў пазухавыя, больш ці менш шарападобныя суквецці. Тычынак 15-30, па 3-6 насупраць кожнага пялёстка. Завязь ніжняя, 3-гнёздавая; семязавязяў па 3-7 (14) на гняздо, прамых; слупок кароткі, у ямцы; рыльца ад галоўчатага да шчыткападобнага. Плады сухія, дравяністыя, лакуліцыдна раскрываюцца. Насенін па 1-2 у гняздзе, ад вузкаэліптычных да зваротнаяйкападобных, сціснутыя; зародак прамы або злёгку выгнуты.
