Dozmol isch de krimgotischi Bischof Ioannes († 26. Juni 792) z Partenit uf d Welt cho, wo e chliine Handelshafe gsii isch. De Ioannes het d Basilika vo de Apostel Petrus und Paul baue loo. Im 10. Joorhundert isch die aber zerstört wore. 1427 isch d Apostelchile vom gotische Bischof Damian wider uufbaut wore. De Hafe het dozmol zum krimgotische Förstetum vo Theodoro ghört, zittewiis au zu de Genuese.

1474 isch de Ort zum Osmanische Riich choo und 1774 zum Krimchanat. Ane 1778 het d Zarin Katherina di christlichi Bivölkerig, wo Grieche gsii sind, deportiere loo und 1783 isch der Ort zu Russland choo. Er isch vo Krimtatare biwont gsii, wo ane 1944 deportiert wore sind. 1945 hend d Russe de Ort Frunzenskoje (Фрунзенское) gnennt. 1991 isch de Ort zu de Ukraine cho und het wider sin alt Name Partenit öbercho.
