Maleck isch e Ortsdeil vu dr Stadt Emmedinge im glichnammige Landkreis vum ditsche Bundesland Bade-Württeberg. Die früeher selbständig Gmei isch am 01. August 1971 uf Emmedinge igmeindet worre.

S'Dorf lit in dr Vorbergzone vum middlere Schwarzwald guet 3 km Luftlinie öschtlich vu dr Emmedinger Innestadt un 15 km nördlich vum Friburger Stadtzentrum in ca. 280 m Höchi.
Mit ere Flächi vu 2,35 km² isch dr Ort relativ klei. Zue Maleck ghöre au die hauptsächlich us Asammlunge vu Burehöfe bestehende Ortsdeile Am Laberberg, Uffem Buck, Brandel, Hinderi Zeismatte un Vorderi Zeismatte.
Im Süde vu dr Gmarkung lit am Malecker Buck dr Malecker Vulkanschlot. Er isch dr Iberrescht vu eme vor ca. 50 Millione Johr aktive Vulkan.

Mit 435 Iwohner isch Maleck dr kleinscht früeher selbständig Stadtteil vu Emmedinge.
Gschicht
S'Dorf isch wohl im 10. bis 12. Johrhundert as e Rodungssidlung entstande. Um 1330 wird „Malnegge“ im Tennenbacher Güeterbuch vum umiddelbar nördlich glägene Kloschter Tennenbach erschtmols erwähnt. D'Zeismatte isch scho um 1094 s'erschtmol schriftlich bekundet. Dr Ort het scho früeh zum badische Herrschaftsgebiet ghert un isch in dr Reformation evangelisch worre.
