Hirschtu oder Herschtu (amtlich Hirschthal) isch e Iiwohnergmeind im Bezirk Aarau vom Schwiizer Kanton Aargau. S Dorf ligd öppe acht Kilometer südlich vo de Kantonshauptstadt Aarau im Suhretal.

Geographii

De Gmeindsbann isch 353 Hektare gross, dodervo sind 181 Hektare Wald und 57 Hektare überbaut. De höchschti Punkt isch uf 653 Meter uf de Hochwacht, der tüüfschti uf 437 Meter a de Suhre. Nochbargmeinde sind Mue im Norde, Choom im Oschte, Schöftle im Süde und Holzike im Weschte.
