Es müeß sällemols e Gschlächt mit em Name von Harpolingen gee ha, wo 1328 und 1402 erwähnt wird. Als Bstanddeil vom Dinghof Murg hän d'Herre vo Wiladige au z Harplinge bis 1376 d'Grichtbarkeit gha. Wo's sälli Meier spöter nümmi gee hät, isch d'Grichtbarkeit an s Stift Säckige übergange, wo's bis zu siner Ufflösig (1806) bhalte hät.
Zu de Zit vo de Habsburger hät Harplinge zu de Grafschaft Hauestei ghört. 1806 isch's an Bade cho.
