Dr Grinte isch a 1738 Mettr hoha Bergrucke zwische Sonthofe und Weartach im Landchrais Obrallgai. Dr Grinte wird au als Wächtar vum Allgai bezeichnet. Vom Alpevorland aus ka ma'n scho vo weitam erkenne, was an seinar ebbas vorglagrete Position und der Dreiecksform liegt, wo aus der Richtung leicht wiedrerkennbar isch, und natirlich au am Sendar, wo auf'm Grinte isch.
Lag und Umgeabung
Dr Grinte isch uina vo de nördlichschte Berg vo de Allgaier Alpe. Direkt am Fuas vum Berg findt ma dia Ortschafta Reattebearg und Burgberg, des Tal vr Illar und des vr'dr Schtarzlach. D Schtarzlach, mit dr bekannte Klamm, entspringt zwische Grinte und Weartachar Hehrnle. Ebbas vorglageret isch Richtung Burgberg des Burgberger Hehrnle mit 1496 Mettr Hehe, wo ma abr sche ebbas Schwindlfreiheit braucht, wemmas beschteige will.
Im Gipflbereich vum Grinte stoht a Denkmåhl fir im Kriag gfallene Gebirgsjägar. Des Denkmåhl isch 1924 nåch Planunga und untr dr Leitung vum Bruno Biehler baut wore. A bizzle weck vo do in sidweschtlicher Richtung stoht seit'm Johr 1951 a 92 Mettr hoha Sendeturm vum Bayrische Rundfunk.
Aufschtieg und Aussicht
Auf'n Grinte ka ma vo verschiedene Seita naufgau. Entweder vo Burgberg aus, odr vo Reatteberg odr Kranzegg, odr au vom Wandrarparkplatz Großa Wald zwische Kranzegg und Weartach. S gibt mehrere bewirtschaftete Hitta und Berggaschthef, wo ma guat eikehre ka. De kizescht Weg goht vo dr Alpe Kammeregg wegg, wo a Parkplatz isch. Bis zur Grintehitte braucht ma uugfähr uinahalb bis zwei Schtund. Vo do weck gohts in ar Dreiviertlschund ibrn Oschtgrat, wo ma sich zletscht am Drohtseil eihebe ka, zum Gipfl mit'm Gebirgsjägardenkmåhl.
D Aussicht vum Grinte isch kherig. An scheene Däg siët ma vo dr Schweiz im Wäschte bis zur Zugschpitz im Oschte, im Norde bis weit ins Unterland und im Siëde bis in d Hochalpe.
