D Rächt vo Königsfälde sind erscht mit de Reformation und de Uflösig vom Chloschter im 1528i zu Bärn cho. Königsfälde isch Sitz vom Landvogt worde und s Eigeamt isch jetz s Oberamt Königsfälde gsi. Ufglöst worde ischs Amt im 1798i noch de Usruefig vo de Helvetische Republik.

Im Zämehang mit dere Landschaft wird de Begriff Eigeamt mängisch hüt no bruucht, me redt aba – wenn's um d Gmeinde Birr, Beret und Lupfig goht – vom Birrfäld.
