Dättwil isch es Dorf und en ehemolegi Gmeind im Kanton Aargau. Zu Dättwil het au s Dorf Rütihof, wo hüt no en Enklave isch, und de Wiler Münzlishuuse ghört. D Gmeind Dättwil het im 1962 mit de Stadt Bade fusioniert und isch sither en Stadtteil.

Dättwil wird zum erste Mol im Johr 924 gnennt (Tetwiler) und Rütihof im Johr 1144 (Rütthi). Bis zum Johr 1415 sind d Habsburger Grichtsherre gsi, nochhär de Landvogt vo Bade. Z Dättwil isch au de Galge vo de Grafschaft Bade gstande. D Gmeind Dättwil isch im 1803 uf Wunsch vo de Ortsgmeinde vo Dättwil, Rütihof und Münzlishuse entstande und sit em 1962 ghört si zu Bade. D Gmeind het vor de Fusion e chli me wi 600 Iiwohner gha.[1]
