R-Stoff

R-Stoff, zat R, adalah nama yang diberikan oleh para insinyur Jerman selama Perang Dunia Kedua untuk campuran 57% xylidine H2N-C6H3(CH3)2 dan 43% trietilamina N(CH2CH3)3 (fraksi massa).

Penggunaan

  • R-Stoff digunakan sebagai propelan bahan bakar dalam penelitian propulsi roket, tetapi sulit dikendalikan karena sifat campurannya sangat bervariasi menurut suhu dan kondisi penggunaan.
  • R-Stoff adalah asal bahan bakar Tonka-250 yang digunakan khususnya pada rudal Scud B Soviet yang berasal dari tahun 1960 an dan masih digunakan pada tahun 1990 an.[1][2]
