Pinus herrerae adalah spesies konifer dalam keluarga Pinaceae. Pohon ini hanya ditemukan di Meksiko. Spesies ini merupakan pohon dengan batang lurus, setinggi 30–35 m dan memiliki diameter setinggi dada (dbh) 75–100 cm.

Kulit kayu: tebal, berwarna cokelat kemerahan atau cokelat keabu-abuan. Ranting: Berwarna abu-abu muda dengan pangkal yang meluruh panjang. Jarum: Berwarna hijau, dalam berkas berisi 3 helai, panjang 10 hingga 20 cm; serta tipis dan terkulai dengan lebar 0,7 hingga 0,9 mm. Kerucut: Soliter atau berpasangan, berukuran 2-4x2-3,5 cm saat terbuka, gugur pada tahun saat matang. Sisik: 50–80, segera terbuka, apofisis sedikit terangkat dengan umbo kecil dan bermucro. Biji: 2,5-4x2-3 mm dengan sayap 5-8x35 mm. Habitat: Di tepi hutan awan serta tumbuh di samping hutan pinus dan pinus-ek bersama Pseudotsuga.
