Hyrachyus (Seperti Hyrax) adalah genus mamalia perissodactyl yang telah punah yang hidup pada masa Eosen di Eropa[1] dan Amerika Utara. Fosilnya juga ditemukan di Jamaika.[2] Hewan ini berkerabat dekat dengan Lophiodon.[3]

Makhluk sepanjang 1,5 m (5 ft) ini berkerabat dengan palaeothere, dan diduga merupakan nenek moyang dari tapir dan badak modern. Secara fisik, hewan ini sangat mirip dengan tapir modern, meskipun tidak memiliki belalai tapir. Akan tetapi, giginya lebih mencirikan gigi badak. Ini menunjukkan bahwa hewan ini berkerabat dengan kedua kelompok hewan tersebut.[1]
