Fauna peralihan adalah istilah bagi spesies hewan endemik yang berasal dari Wallacea.[1] Sebutan tersebut juga merupakan jenis pengelompokan hewan berdasarkan wilayah persebaran habitatnya yang dibatasi oleh garis Wallace.[2] Fauna peralihan sering disebut juga satwa Indonesia bagian tengah karena letak habitatnya yang secara geografis meliputi Pulau Sulawesi, dan Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara.
