Erythranthe latidens, sinonim Mimulus latidens,[1] adalah spesies monkeyflower yang dikenal dengan nama umum broadtooth monkeyflower.

Tumbuhan ini berasal dari lembah dan pegunungan pesisir di California Utara hingga Selatan dan negara bagian Baja California di Meksiko. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di area yang lembap secara musiman, seperti kolam vernal.[butuh rujukan] Spesies ini juga ditemukan di Oregon.[1]

Deskripsi

Erythranthe latidens adalah herba tahunan yang menghasilkan batang bercabang tipis dengan tinggi maksimum mencapai sekitar 27 sentimeter. Daunnya berbentuk tombak hingga oval, dengan beberapa terletak dalam roset basal dan daun yang lebih kecil berpasangan di sepanjang batang.

Dasar berbentuk tabung dari setiap bunga terbungkus dalam kelopak sepal berusuk yang membengkak saat buah matang. Bunganya memiliki panjang hingga satu sentimeter, lebar hanya beberapa milimeter di bagian mulut, serta berwarna merah muda, putih, atau terkadang kuning.
