Erythranthe dentata adalah spesies bunga monyet (monkeyflower) yang dikenal dengan nama umum coastal monkeyflower dan toothleaf monkeyflower. Tumbuhan ini merupakan tanaman asli pesisir barat Amerika Utara dari British Columbia hingga California bagian utara, tempat ia tumbuh di habitat yang lembap. Sebelumnya tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama Mimulus dentatus.[1][2][3][4]

Deskripsi

Tumbuhan ini merupakan herba tahunan berrizoma yang berbulu, menghasilkan batang tegak hingga setinggi kurang lebih 40 sentimeter. Daunnya yang berbentuk oval dan berurat memiliki panjang sekitar 7 sentimeter dan tersusun berhadapan di sekitar batang. Dasar bunga yang berbentuk tabung terbungkus dalam kelopak sepal berusuk dengan lobus runcing di bagian mulutnya. Mahkota bunga yang berbentuk corong berwarna kuning memiliki panjang hingga 4 sentimeter dengan mulut lebar yang terbagi menjadi dua lobus pada bibir atas dan tiga lobus pada bibir bawah.
