Erythranthe breviflora adalah spesies bunga monyet (monkeyflower) yang dikenal dengan nama umum bunga monyet berbunga pendek (shortflower monkeyflower). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Utara bagian barat, mulai dari British Columbia hingga Wyoming, sampai ke Dataran Tinggi Modoc dan Sierra Nevada bagian utara di California. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di area lembap di berbagai jenis habitat. Tumbuhan ini sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama Mimulus breviflorus.[1][2][3][4]

Deskripsi

Erythranthe breviflora adalah herba tahunan berbulu halus yang menghasilkan batang tipis dan tegak setinggi hingga 17 sentimeter. Daun yang berpasangan memiliki helaian berbentuk oval yang tumbuh pada tangkai daun (petiole), masing-masing dengan panjang total kurang dari 3 sentimeter. Bunga kuning berbentuk tabung kecil memiliki panjang beberapa milimeter. Mahkotanya terbagi menjadi lima lobus di bagian mulut bunga.
