Barbeyaceae adalah salah satu suku anggota tumbuhan berbunga. Menurut Sistem klasifikasi APG II suku ini dimasukkan ke dalam bangsa Rosales, klad euRosidae I. Famili tumbuhan ini hanya memiliki satu genus tumbuhan saja, yakni Barbeya. Genus tersebut juga hanya memiliki satu spesies tumbuhan saja yakni Barbeya oleoides. Spesiesnya merupakan pohon kecil yang mirip dengan zaitun, dan merupakan tumbuhan endemik di Ethiopia, Somalia dan Semenanjung Arab.[2]
