Atriplex fruticulosa adalah spesies saltbush yang dikenal dengan nama umum ball saltbush dan little oak orach.

Persebaran

Tumbuhan ini endemik di California, tempat ia tumbuh di beberapa jenis habitat, biasanya di daerah dengan tanah asin atau tanah alkali.

Deskripsi

Ini adalah herba menahun yang menghasilkan batang tegak yang bercabang di bagian atas dan mencapai tinggi maksimum mendekati 50 sentimeter. Daunnya yang bersisik abu-abu berbentuk lanset hingga oval sempit dan panjangnya kurang dari 2 sentimeter. Tumbuhan ini menghasilkan perbungaan berbentuk bulir untuk bunga jantan dan perbungaan berkelompok kecil untuk bunga betina di ketiak daun.
